Team Jacob

So I totally get that Robvember is all about Breaking Dawn: Part 1.  I get it, I really do.  But somewhere in my heart of hears, although it was the gorgeous and brooding Edward Cullen that brought me to the Rob-side, I will always and forever have a soft spot for Robkowski.

I'm not sure if it's the period piece (I am a history teacher after all...and the Depression is my favorite period to teach...), or the fact that I absolutely LOVE the book, or the experience I had in NYC for the premiere where I was lucky enough to meet MrsKassieCullen, BellaTesoro, 17ForeverLisa, and Robzie/Meg, among others.  Maybe it's the culmination of all them all that puts me in my happy place.

Today, we celebrate (FINALLY) the release of Water for Elephants on DVD/Blu-Ray in the US.  Don't forget, among the hype of the Breaking Dawn press that is and will continue to happen this week to make a quick stop on the way home and pick up your copy - mine is on reserve at my local Barnes and Noble waiting patiently for me to get out of work...
I was a little inspired knowing that this day was coming so I made you all a little something.  Enjoy!

  1. Addict that I am, first thing I do in the morning is
check my email. This little gem is what I awoke to.
Your montage, was for me too, everything you so lovingly said about the movie, that time in our history, Rob, and most of all about what we found in New York.
Great way to start ROBVEMBER. I'll be picking up my copy of WFE on my way home from school.
    So thank you Q!

  2. Awwwwww! I love the sentiment and the collage. Love the speia tone with the logo and, of course, the pictures used. The whole journey with Water for Elephants was amazing. It will always have a special place in my heart.

I preordered my DVD copy through Amazon and got an email that it shipped yesterday. Probably the last time I'll preorder because they never get here before their available to the general public. Looking forward to the DVD extras.

  3. My ex-boyfriend did that with one of the Harry Potter books back when they were being released, Lisa, and ended up not getting it for like a week - he was pissed. Ever since then I refuse to pre-order from the websites like that. I pre-ordered at Barnes and Noble so my copy is on hold there :) Can't wait to get out of work and pick it up!!

  6. I went and picked up my copy from Walmart $24.96 for the copy with the digital copy included! YEAH baby!

I preordered Eclipse from Target and I got it 3 days before everyone else. Guess it's just the luck of the draw on that one!

  7. I just wanted to add...

This movie holds a soft spot for me too because opening day was my first meeting with UAB, Kassie, Meg and Kristen! The place was packed with old people and the first showing we had to sit in different spots of the theater. I ended up hitting UAB the whole time! Sorry BB! You finally meet me and I'm assaulting you! LMAO

We got to sit together (minus Kristen, she had to leave. :0( ) but the last four made pervy comments through out...

    Meg: Manure Scene!!!!!

I love you ladies and I wish that the rest of this crazy ass group could have been with us! Now, I'm off to open my movie and watch it!

Big Smackers to all of you!
