Warm Me Up, And Breathe Me.....

I heard this Sia song in the car yesterday. It's on my Twi/Radiohead playlist, and it made me think of a certain Robsten video.

Revisit it with me, it's kinda epic...

Geesh, Rob wanted her so bad. Glad he got the girl in the end.

  3. Love that video. The song is really pretty too - I always forget that I like Sia. I love their comment about her on the Eclipse commentary when they're trying to decide if that's her real name or not. Too funny.

I haven't (and those of you who don't agree can kill me later) been the biggest Kristen fan because I always get this awkward feeling when I watch her on things/in things. I don't know why - I'm weird I guess. But, I can say this - as I'm sure we all would agree, we want our Rob to be happy and so long as she makes him happy I'm happy that they have each other. I like the video here because you can see them having fun together and he's genuinely smiling when they're playing around. That makes me happy for him.

Also, for anyone who's read it - is it just me or do you see Under the Apple Tree when they're playing on the swing. I know there's not a swing on the tree in the story, I just get that feeling though with those shots. The way my mind works is weird sometimes.

  5. You are so right!! I just finished Under the Apple Tree. It does remind me of them on the swing!

You are not alone with your feelings on Kristen (don't start throwing rotten fruit at us!!. It's not that I don't like her. She seems to be a very nice person who isn't really comfortable with all the attention she has gotten from this. If they are dating, cool. If they are not, cool too. As long as they are happy, that's their business. I've watched several of her films. I have seen Speak, which I thought she was fab in. I've seen In the Land of Women and Fierce People. Fierce People was terrific. If you get a chance, watch them.

I have seen this photoshoot probably 20 times on youtube. Towards the end, it really shows the comraderie of the cast. Some of my fav pics of Rob are from this shoot.

  6. Yay! I'm not crazy - Naughty, I'm glad you think the same things!! I think she does seem like a nice person who isn't comfortable with all the attention and I get that, I really do. I just don't always think she's the MOST convincing actor. But again - if they're together, great - if not, great - as long as they're happy that's all that matters to me. And if they are together - good for them for keeping it mostly under wraps (I mean we can't really deny anymore that it's about 99.9% sure that they are) and not letting the media go crazy over it. So many actors would eat up the attention to a relationship like crazy - I'm glad they're not like that.

Speak is really good - I actually used to show it when I taught sociology at the high school level and we talked about socialization in high school as well as many of the other "themes" in the movie. The Runaways was also pretty good - Dakota Fanning was fantastic in ti - finally got around to watching it recently since I'd heard it was good.

  7. I love how Rob loves her, so that makes me happy. I think he is gonna end up with someone a little more confident and w/ bigger boobs. there, i said it.
however, i'm pro rob and if this is what he wants than i want it too.
i also like that they haven't gone hollywood.

the runaways was really a great movie. dfann ftw!

*note to self* finish reading UtAT and rent Fierce People

  8. I know I stand alone and I'm okay with that. This was the beginning of Robsten for me. It was unfolding before our very eyes. They are beautiful when they stand together...in photoshoots, on film, and in real life.

No shocker. Watching that video took me back to that place and time and made me cry. It represents a beginning, not just for them, but for me. It lead them to their soulmates. It lead me here.

    XO
